Remember the 80th Anniversary of D-Day

For ten years one message has emerged from the deep relationships we have shared with our WW2 veterans:

“Please make sure they don’t forget us. Please tell our stories.”

And here we are - at the Normandy 80th - the final great gathering of these men who now between 98 and 103 years of age.

They will be returning to the invasion beaches of their youth, along with thousands celebrating their sacrifices. We intend to be there in Normandy with our film crew. To honor these men. To record them. To tell their stories. To record this last great epic remembrance of the invasion that defined the 20th century.

The work of Operation Meatball is a love letter to the past and an inheritance gift to the coming generation living in a time of historical amnesia.
